In sculpture, Chris Grubb discovered a medium through which he can portray emotion that is difficult to express by other means. He is especially intrigued by classical realism juxtaposed against modern, abstract or even absurd interactions and environments. Through exploration and artistic interpretation, Chris’s hope is that his sculptures may teach something about the human condition, our nature, our potential , our strengths and our faults. Chris’s work is not solely about beauty but it is intended to send a message, delivered through a unique perspective and, hopefully, with ever-increasing technical skill.
